Does anyone know if the hard-drive in the Pavilion 7920 is easily
upgradeable? I wish to upgrade the HDD to something larger, say an 80GB. I
checked HP's site and all it said, was it's a 3.5" unit.

Thanks.

Well that is interesting, if you got restore disks with your pc, then yes.
However alot of PC manufacturers package the disks on the HDD now. If that
is the case I would recommend just adding a second unit, not replacing it
altogether. If you are intent on replacing it tho, call HP and tell them
you want the actual physical disks, they will charge you for S&H which is
usually like 5-10 then when you get those you can replace. Other than that
little fiasco, it is just like chaging a regular HDD

I'm not too bothered about that, as I'm going to install Windows 2000 on the
new HDD, as opposed to Windows ME which it came with. What is on the
recovery disks is of little importance to me. But yes, I did get a
recovery/restore disk with the PC.

Thanks.
