I am just now learning that the HP Officejet 6110 has no fax print driver.
You actually need to print the document first, then feed it in page by page
if you want to send a fax from your PC.

This is the year 2004 right?

Does anyone know whether HP has plans to release this functionality soon, or
should I be shopping for a new 4-in-1 device?

I'm not impressed either. That's just one of the many "quirks" associated
with the 6110. In my opinion, it's a POS. I had all kinds of trouble getting
one configured even with a newer Dell XP machine. Software package wouldn't
completely load, printer wouldn't print when it wanted to, wouldn't
configure with a wireless USB print server, acted like "old" technology,
etc. Put up with it for 7 months and finally took it back to Sam's for a
refund "no questions asked"... which was the best part of my 6110
experience. Picked up a Canon 960 (not multifunction) for half the price and
love it.

This is not the first time HP has not bothered to create proper drivers for
a multi-function device when a new OS comes out.

what new OS ? I'm talking about windows 2000!!!
