I have a dual boot XP/Vista system. Vista installed without any hickups at
all - I was very impressed with that. However, I'm having a problem
printing.
I have an HP Officejet 6110 connected via USB. Vista recognized it and seems
to have loaded all the default HP drivers. If I unplug the printer, vista
sees that action and marks the printer offline. If I plug it back in, Vista
changes the printer status to online.
I can also look at all the normal printer properties and change items like
sharing, paper size, color, and a whole host of defaults.
However, when I try to print (from any application) or try to print a test
page, I get the following error:-
Test page failed to print. Operation could not be completed. I've tried
uninstalling and reinstalling a few times (trying to fake it out) and... no
printing.
Does anyone have any ideas or has anyone managed to get an officejet
connected via USB to work?
Thanks, Steve
