Hi,

I'm running XPHome, and a HP LaserJet 6L printer. (I'm using the Windows
supplied driver, since HP has not provided an updated driver for the 6L
running under XP.) Everything's been working fine for a year.

Last night, whenever I try to print any Word document, the page eject light
blinks, and the only way I can print the document is to press the page
eject button. It's like it needs a carriage return to spit the darn page
out. This is only on Word documents.

Before I try a system restore, or reinstalling the print driver, I'd like
to know if anyone has any ideas as to why this may be happening all of a
sudden.

Thanks,
Bruce

Solved. It turns out that Word is the only application (I use) that
allows me to set the paper selection tray on the HP6L to manual,
automatic, etc. Someone had set it to manual, so the printer required a
page eject, since it was 'waiting' for the user to insert his choice of
paper, before it would print.
