hp lj1100 all-in-one

i just upgraded to xp. my printer/scanner will print
fine, but i can't get it to scan. when i try to scan
using the software (last jet document desktop), the
program immediately ends. when i try to manually scan
using the button on the printer/scanner, nothing happens.
any ideas?

Did you keep the All in One unit connected during the upgrade... if so you
really need to uninstall it and then reinstall it using

The only scanner utility at the HP website that would probably help is not
for XP but there is one listed for Windows 2000 which should work and is
