Okay . . . first thing is first . . . why not visit the HP web site (I've 2
HPs, they have a pretty decent, "easy" site)

http://support.hp.com and you'll be redirected.
Then under #1 Click Software & Driver downloads
Then in the box for #2 type your computer type: e.g. Pavilion 7955
Then from the next screen choose what kind of system you have
Then from the next screen choose the Operating System - Windows 2000
The pick and choose what you are suppose to need; and I'm not exactly sure
from your post what you do need . . . do you know?
