HP Laserjet Director is now broken with Vista ?

Hi folks,
I have an HP3300 mfp that scans, prints and copies.
It came with an app called HP Laserjet Director which orchestrated scanning,
ocr, and picture editing.
This app no longer works with Vista.
HP is totally silent.
Anyone here news on why this is ?

Have you looked at this page from HP?

I don't see the HP Director software listed there, just drivers. This
probably means that there is no version of HP Director for your machine that
will work under Vista.
