I
ingenious
I have an HP LaserJet 4P connected to my iMac G5 via a USB-parallel
cable. The printer shows up fine and I can select drivers (either
Gutenprint or the HP-supplied one). When I go to print (this has been
an outstanding problem on this printer, even before my iMac existed)
the printer goes through all normal motions, but then stops with a "13
Paper Jam" error. I'm not sure if this is the "sensor arm" issue or
not. Sometimes the error occurs and there is no paper jam (this is
about half of the time).
Also, the piece that feeds the paper up onto the top of the printer is
missing.
Does anyone know what this is called so I can purchase a replacement
(if I can get the printer to work again!).
Thanks!
