I have added this printer to sbs2003 server. This printer has 3 trays. Up
untill a week ago I was able to choose any tray I want to print from. Now,
when I choose tray 2 as source, tray 3 is being used.

Also, the printer display shows that it needs maintenance. Typically, could
it continue working or this could be the reason for the above problem?

What is really good about these bi-directional printer hookups is that
there is communications between an object and an user. Have you checked
on the maintenance that is needed of the printer? And it might solve
the issue of the paper trays.
