I work in a company which runs Novell. We have alot Hp 2000 series
network printers witch are set up using ndps in novell.
Our problem is that these printers always appear offline in novell and
people can not print on them. We have been solving this by shutting
the printers down and pressing the go button and holding it down while
turning the printer on. Also sometimes we get an I/O error on the
printers and we use the same solution to solve that. I/O error usually
meens that they have got another ip address but that is not the case.
These printers don't have a display so it is very hard to see what is going
on on the printers.
We have up to 50 2000 printers so this is causing some problems with our
print server.
Has anybody seen this before.
