The manual of the HP Laserjet 1200 says I can print multiple pages on
a single
sheet of paper. The manual says this can be done by accessing
PROPERTIES menu of the printer. However, I found nothing in the
Properties menu that relates to
multiple pages on a single sheet.

Does anyone know how this can be done using HP Laserjet utilities?

Assuming you are using Microsoft Windows, try using a PostScript driver,
preferably Adobe's version.
