I don't know if here is the right place to do a post about this problem, if
not, i apologise.
I have a home network of 7 pcs with one shared printer, an HP LaserJet 1150.
Sometimes, now more often than ever, my printer in the middle of some job
(sent locally or across the network) prints a file that were on another pc
(the file was printed once long time ago). The "phantom file" was an excel
file of 2 pages. It prints the first page and appears exactly as the
original, with no garbled or damaged areas.
First i rename the file and eventually i move it to the desktop, but still
continues to appear.
I checked the cable that connects the printer to the pc twice.
The driver seems to be up to date. And i check that there's no files at the
spool.
I think that could be some malware, so i check it out without any results.
This weird print is unexpected, and could pass a week without notice, but it
reappears. Its not harmfull but can be very annoying when im late and this
happens. Any ideas?
not, i apologise.
