Hi
I'm considering buying a printer for printing quite large amounts of text
( i mean i want to print out a book once a month ie. and some
documentations).
I found LaserJet 1010 to be cheap HP printer, however it's cartridge
suffices for only 2500 pages and replacemetn is quite expensive (ca. 70$).
So my questions is is it possible to somehow refill such a cartridge ( i
don't really mind lower printing quality) ? what's the cost of a refilling ?
Or maybe Ink printer is a better alternative for cheap printing lots of text
? I don't need color and high quality.

TIA

Maybe it would be worth spending more on the printer so that you could
get a lower cost per page which in the longer run will work out cheaper?
I am considering buying a Kyocera in part on this basis as they seem
to have a lower running cost than most (see for example a
trustreviews.com for the Kyocera 1020D which says "Kyocera has long
banged on about the low cost of ownership of its printers, thanks to its
lifetime drum, which never needs replacement. Page cost and total cost
of ownership figures support this, with the lowest TCO figure in the
group by over 20 per cent.").

Regards
David
