HP PSC 2210 All-in-one printer/fax/scanner/copier... desktop
inkjet... Version? C8654A.
And I've always LOVEd this machine.
It was "broke" for several months... it sat idle. It's now "fixed".
Sorta...
For Either "print" or "copy"... It works well... for only 1 page
every 5 minutes.
Maybe the ink cartridges are old / dirty / clogged / dried?
I pushed the buttons for Setup / Maintenance / Align print cartridges
and Setup / Maintenance / Clean print cartridges
and the 6 colored squares print very nicely, but nothing prints in
Black.
I found a post on how to clean the ink cartridges with water/
amonia...
I did that (to the Black ink cartridge only), and then it copied OK.
Now, I tell it to Copy (black, not color)... it works Great.
I immediately tell it to Copy again... a Blank page comes out.
After 5 minutes... Copy... it works great.
immediately after that... Copy... a Blank page comes out.
What's up?
Is the ink in the cartridge PARTIALLY "dried up"?
Is there a fix for that? (besides buying a new cartridge).
Is there something else wrong, that a new cartridge won't help?
I've never re-filled these cartridges... I think I got them from
Office Depot or Staples.
Thanks, in advance, people.
