Hi...
I have an old HP IIIp. I recently had the fuser lamp replaced. Now I have
a new problem. After the printer has been on for a short time, it goes
completely dead. If I turn off the power switch and wait about five minutes
and turn it on again, it will power up and work fine for a few minutes.
Then, it dies again. When it's on, it prints fine and the self-test shows
no errors.
Can someone diagnose this for me? Is it a power supply? Something else?
If this can be fixed with a part I can buy online, I'll do it. Otherwise, I
think it may be time for a new printer.
Thank you.
John
