HP DVD Writer 200j Not Recognizing Media

Larry

The Writer is not recognizing CD-R and CD-RW discs. Have
tried media from a couple of manufacturers. Have not
tried to write a DVD. Any recommendations on how to
resolve this problem will be appreciated.
 
Are you able to read normal discs (i.e. not writeable media)? In any case,
you should probably check with HP for support.
