Hi all!
I assume/hope that the .printers-List is suitable for my Problem.
We got a HP DraftMaster RX Plus (7596c), which support of the pen
carriage unit is defect. The carriage is dangling up and down when it is
moved. It seems as if the force that presses the carriage up against the
guide rail is missing. The problem is that it is not obvious how these
force would be generated if the carriage would be intact.
Additionally HP's Product Support expired, so that we can not get any
technical information or a technican able to repair the plotter.
I now seek technical Information regarding this problem and about the
x-axis-unit and the pen carriage unit, a technican, somebody owning
replacement parts for the pen carriage unit or a whole x-axis-unit (with
carriage, motor, etc) or a defect plotter, which x-axis-unit is still
intact.
Thanks for your help!
goodbye!
