HP Director

My fathers got a HP all in one jobby and the HP Director has stopped working
for some reason. He has done a reinstall, downloaded the latest software
from the net and even done a XP restore but nothing, it still wont work, any
ideas anyone.?

the only thing he has installed new is IE7

It seems that IE7 breaks HP Director, as a search on Google turns up 420K
hits for the search "HP Director IE7" without the quotes.

it appears HP is working on the issue and there is a temporary workaround on
that page.

Hi,

Just a brief message.

Anyone who is having problems with HP Director and Internet Explorer 7.
HP has released a patch on their web site that fixes the problem.

All you need to do is go to the HP web site (www.hp.com) for your
particular piece of hardware and download the ie7 patch.
