i purchased an hp F4140 all-in-one, i installed the disk that came with it, i
then downloaded the patch from HP for Vista, it told me that i was not the
administrator of the computer so log out and back in then install it, but i'm
the only administrator for this puter. so i contacted HP they told me "the
disc must have been corrupted" so they sent me a new one, well it still won't
work, nor did the another printer, 3 mouses, and 1 digital camera. my comuter
i bought in Aug. is a Toshibaatellite P200/P205 series laptop with windows
vista.
can someone please help me!!!

well, i'm not sure that is the case because I hook up to the internet using
my alltel phone and it connects to a USB port. i also ran a check in the
computer and everything passed. anything else it could be?

Toshiba is almost impossible to contact except by paid for support
phone but check out the Laptop Forum on Compuserve (you don't hve to be
a member anymore -- just log on using an AIM user name and a password)
since a lot of the volunteers there were around when Toshiba ran the
Forum and Toshiba actually still list it for support on their website
and in their manuals!

http://community.compuserve.com/n/pfx/forum.aspx?webtag=ws-laptop
should get you there after logging in.
