When I try to just do a test page manually on the printer the paper
starts in its path and jams just as it comes out the front. Seems to
jam around what I call the guide pins. Which after inspection I found
only one of these are NOT broken. Is that my problem and can these pins
or guides be purchased and replaced? Thanks in advance.. Stu

Yes the part with the two broken pins does seem to be #8 (the best I can
tell). But the parts list doesn't show the 970 model for a replacement.
The 970 is not shown but it is the correct part

If this were the part how hard or easy is it to replace.
I had to replace one last year. As I recall it was not too hard to
replace. It ended up costing close to $30 with S&H.
