I was able to install printer manually. However, I'm
unable to print in color. Help!

Go to Printers, right click the DeskJet 840C printer and select Printing Preferences from the Context Menu. Now click the
Paper/Quality tab and under the Color section make sure Color is selected and not Black & White.
Since Windows 2000 does not come with a driver for the DeskJet 840C I'm assuming we are using a driver from HP, which
means you may not find the Paper/Quality tab under Printing Preferences since HP may have their own custom tabs. If this
is the case you may need to contact HP for further assistance.
