HP DeskJet 820C and Word 97

Suddenly my printer has started printing very, very slowly when printing
from Word 97 (OS Windows 95). Printing from Excel, Notepad, Wordpad,
the Internet is normal. I re-installed the printer Driver and Word 97
and saw no change in the printing speed. I'd appreciate any suggestions
anyone might have.

Check the driver settings in Word and make sure the paper type has not been set
to glossy media.

Thanks very much for the reply. I believe that I solved the problem by
downloading and installing the most recent driver for my printer/W95.
So far, so good. When I reinstalled my old driver, everything was fine
until I restarted the computer. That's when the printing slowed down to
a crawl. Seems strange to me.
