Just installed XP Pro over Win98. Print driver in file OK. All checks show printer OK. Downloaded all updates to XP. Installed Norton AV Pro. Printer stopped working. MSG: As a security measure windows has disabled remote access to this computer. This is a stand alone computer with one printer. I can print the print head alignment but not the test page or anything from any other doc. WORD mesg: Thanks for any help.

Do you have all the Window updates?

Disable script blocking in Norton, sometimes this will work.

I tried to correct by disabling scrip in Norton AV but it didn't work
All available updates have been installed
It was after this update download that I started having printer problems. I think it has something to do with domain access but I'm not sure. All checks show driver installed OK but it seems that nothing is being sent to the spool que?
