Okay...well, I keep asking the same question, and it seems
like I keep getting either the runaround, or know one
really knows what the problem is.
I have a HP Deskjet 660Cse printer, when I plug it into my
computer running Windows XP *Pro* RTM, it gets recognized,
then when I try to add the driver, I get an 'Operation Can
Not be Completed' Error. I try over and over to install
it, but it errors out.
Now, I am using the built in XP Pro Drivers...for some odd
reason, and on a whim, I tried to 'install' other
Deskjets, it seems like the 660C, 660Cse, and 670 Deskjet
drivers all have the Operation Could not Be Completed
error, but all other Deskjet drivers work fine.
I'm guessing that those particular drivers (for the 660
Series and 670) are corrupt...I even tried re-copying
the 'Driver.cab' file from my XP Cd.
It seems like everything I do to make it work fails.
Any insights? (Besides buying a new printer, I cannot at
this time.)
