HP Deskjet 350 Printer

Using Windows XP Professional. Attached HP DJ350.
Loaded driver from XP driver list. Printer printes all
characters and what looks like an offset by just a
little. Like a text shadow, but not.

If the printer printed one direction a word. when it
printed back the other direction it would not put the
letters exactly on top of the ones it just printed, if
that makes sense.

Your help would be appreciated.
