HP d135 scanning problem with Acrobat 7.0

I have an HP d136 All-in-One printer and am using it with XP Pro. Adobe
Acrobat 7.0 is installed and has been working fine; however, I have never
used it with a scanner.

I just installed the HP d135 and it does not recognize Acrobat 7.0.

Acrobat recognizes the d135 as an attached scanner but when I try to scan, I
get a "Scanning Cancelled" error message.

I have searched the newsgroups and have found many comments about this
problem but have found NO SOLUTION. Any help or information would be
appreciated.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat.
