Anybody have one of these? I was shown a demo of color prints today
from hp's c3180 and was impressed with the quality from this low cost
printer. I'm on a budget and just need something for casual use. I
know theres alot of chipped cartriage technology today but i wondered
if I would be able to refill the 92 and 93 series carts in this
machine. I realize you lose your ink level monitoring but I'm willing
to accept that evil. I'm just concerned that this machine being
relativly new may have some newfangled system that wont let you print
with empty carts.

I just got one a month ago. I'm also impressed with the quality , compared to my
previous printer, an HP 940C.

Other than the small cart size and hence, repeated and often refilling, they are
indeed refillable. I just refilled my black cart, with no problems. See the
following pages for instructions:

See my previous thread "Reset HP #92 and #93?" where Bob explains that the
printer will still print,, even when the cart shows as empty.
