Hi all! There's a dinosaur HP Color LaserJet 5 still in use here
(introduced 1995), which uses the C3102A, C3103A, C3104A, C3105A
(CYMK respectively) toner cartridges. On the outside of each box is
a sticker with an eight-digit code, e.g. "73053YZ2" or "93086CZ2".
Does anyone know how to decipher this, so that the oldest toner gets
used first? Or doesn't it really matter for toner because each
cartridge is shrink-wrapped? Everything I've found online deals
with newer cartridges and a different date encoding. Thanks!
