Hi there, I have several of these printers at work, and for some reason
one of them will not feed the paper all the way out, it stops about an
inch from the edge so if the user is printing more than one page it
tends to over lap the previous page.

Any one see this before?

It appears that over the years many HP printers of different models have
had paper feed problems. You may want to clean the rubber rollers with
alcholol and then rub them slightly with some sand paper or some other
abraisive material.

All printers regardless of make eventually have feed problems, the pick up
rollers and sometimes other rollers (especially in inkjets) simply wear. HP
printers suffer from this no more than any other make. Yes, cleaning with
alcohol is OK, best to use a wet cloth first and see if that does it. Under no
circumstances use anything abrasive, that is simply dumb advice.

Over the years Measkite has had many problems. He needs sandpaper on his
clogged butt.

I also don't know where I would find:

alcholol - funny, they didn't teach me about this compound in chemistry
abraisive material - I can't find that online anywhere!

I guess that GED from prison is not the same as learning to spell.

Its not the pickup thats causing the problems its when the paper comes
out of the printer, its just not coming all the way out, will try and
clean the rollers at the front, this printer is only a couple of months
old so will see what HP can do for me.
