Recently the interface between my computer and the printer has gone
south. I don't know why, but what I did find is using printer managed
colors seems to solve the problem.

There do not seem to be many B9180 owners in this group, but there is a very
active Yahoo group covering the B9180 at

Are you printing from Photoshop? I have had the problem on my PC of
paper choices disappearing, just reinstalled the software. Could be a
similar problem. I have not been overjoyed with the software on this
printer, the driver is fine but the rest of the 250 or so megabytes is
junk.

I am pretty sure the problem has to do with Mac apps when you try to do
app CM. The apps don't seem to turn off printer CM, even tho the panel
says they do.

I don't use PS. I use LightZone, and while there are minor differences
between app and printer CM, they are not that noticeable in actual
prints. Still, I have decided to stick with printer CM as the best way
to minimize conflicts.
