Hi,

I am trying to install a F335 and its not working out.

The problem starts when the Install Software gets to the point of
asking to hook-up the USB cable. I do; however it does not recognize
it. We tried the install on my roommates computer and the same thing
occurs. I took the cable to CompUSA and they checked it out as good.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled on several occasions now. That was
the first printer. I took it back to the store, and the same thing
happens on this replacement one. I want to give it one more shot
before I return this and get a different printer altogether.

Is there anything I can do to trouble shoot this more than just the
basic above things? Are there some things I could look up on the the
pc that would point towards something else? Also, I've tried to
install via Add Printer, though it gets to a screen that asks for an IP
address and I have no idea what to enter.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
John

Did you connect the USB cable before you installed the software? If so, try it
the other way around, wait until the installer asks you to connect the printer
and then connect the USB cable.
