Has anyone had any luck with installing an HP7310 network printer.

Vista does not like verison 4.7.0 express install on the cd. I am getting
error messages to try logging off and do a restart.

Vista also can not find the printer on the network when doing a search for
it. My XP machine and windows server 2003 is finding the printer with no
problem.

The system has found my HP 4050 network printer.

Vista actually finds my 7310 just fine and the standard Vista HP drivers
load with no problems... however I can't print. The jobs spool and indicate
they've gone to the printer but they never print. Not sure what the problem
is but since we're in the beta stage here I'm content to wait on the
fix/updated drivers. I can always boot back to XP if I need to print
something at this stage.

I have the 7310 as well, but I have noticed that when I connect to it locally
(USB) it works fine. It does not work when connected over TCP/IP. Then I
tried an older printer with a work around listed on HP's website. It was the
Officejet d145. When I did that using the 990c drivers, again, I worked fine
using USB, but not connecting through sharing. Hopefully someone will come up
with a solution.

OK, I got it to print correctly for now. I used the work around that HP lists
for the x64 driver issue and pointed it to the TCP/IP port and all worked
well.
