Posting again just in case first one with image attached disappeared down a
black hole:-

Was printing something out and a piece from inside the printer was ejected
with the paper. It is silver and sticky backed, about 3ins long with a
series of fine wire strands about 0.25ins coming out from it. If anybody can
tell me where this part goes (preferably with picture :o) ) I would be
grateful.

Sending binaries to non-binary groups is a good way to get them shoved
down a black hole. Many news service providers will not allow such
posts.

Post an image of the part to one of the free hosting services like
http://www.rapidshare.de/ and post the url for the image here.
We can then try to help.
Does the printer still work?
