HP 932, print without color cart?

Is it possible to make my HP 932 printer print (black only) with the
color cart REMOVED? There is a cartridge configuration setup dropdown
box but it is grey. The driver pops up a box warning that there is no
color cartidge inserted -- but it hints that you can continue... but
anyway sending it jobs in this condition don't get printed.
I am using XP, with a driver I recently downloaded from hp website.

The DeskJet 932 requires both a color and black cartridge to be installed It
is not necessary for the color cartridge to have ink but it must be installed.
