Hi,
I recently bought an HP Photosmart 8250 printer.
If I print on to 6" x 4" photopaper placed in the photo tray it prints fine
from a memory card, but I am unable to print to paper placed in the photo
tray from the computer, it will then only print to the main paper tray.
Is this normal?

I have had no trouble printing from the computer using 4x6
in the photo tray.

You have to press the button on the printer that says photo
tray so that it lights up.
You also have to go into printer properties and choose the
paper quality tab and say photo tray where it says "source is".
