Hi,
I have an HP 7350 printer connected to a USB hub along with a
broadband modem and a CD burner. I've been a lot of dialogues popping
up that say the computer has lost connection with the printer, which
is distressing enough, but if I am in the process of doing something
with the other two devices, i.e. downloading or burning, the printer's
loss of connection disconnects the other devices with it. In the case
of the modem, the computer doesn't recognise it as being disconnected,
and facilitates the need to reboot. I'm sure it is the printer causing
the problem, as when I've uninstalled the printer, the other devices
work fine. I've got it all connected to a Dell Latitude Laptop.
Thanks,
Bob Daoust
