HP 6L Problem.

The leds show every thing is OK but.

Some times will not print unless I press the front panel button, most of the
time with one press all the pages will print, but some times I have to press
it for each page..

Printer has new paper feed kit..


Yes I do have a Service manual for it..



And clues on this..

How much memory is installed? Sounds like the printer is reciving
print job just a bit bigger than the internal memory can handle. Mine
used to do that until I picked up an 8MB card and plugged it in.
After that I could do nothing but 600x600 high quality prints at full
speed. 8MB is the largest card made for this series of printer.

The memory card is a bit hard to find nowday but a few have turned up
on eBay. I wouldn't suggest anything but 8MB for best performance.
4MB and I think 2MB exists but they are not really worth the money if
you print anything more than a full page text only.

Thanks but it has a 8 Meg card fitted..
