HP 65R

My sister got a HP 65R multifunction deskjet printer,scan/print from pc works
ok,fax from HP65R ok but hou use the fax funktion from the pc.

Hou to get Microsoft Word (Outlook)to use the fax function on the Hp65r

Anebody hint/info/help

I've not used an HP65 but have used a LJ3200, LJ3030 and DJ710(?). They all
fax/scan/print. I think the HP65R would be similar to those.

If u install the CD that came with the HP65R, the fax would appear as
another printer to MS Word. When u print, select the fax "printer". It'll
then ask you for a telephone number to fax to. After entering the fax
number, the printer would proceed to dial the number and send it as a fax.

If this is an Officejet R65 I do not believe it supports faxing from a
PC, other than printing a page and then faxing it from the glass. Later
models such as those listed above do support faxing from a PC. You
might consider an inexpensive fax modem for sending from a PC with this
unit.

I got a mail from Hp and the support say's no Pc fax from R65 :-(
