Someplace along the line I've set the printing option up wrong. When my wife
prints a half fold greeting card, the front prints but when it prints the
back side of the card the printing is on the wrong side and upside down.

How do I remove this setting from the printer memory so I can reconfigure to
the half fold cars correctly?

TIA,

Wayne

Uncheck the "print on both sides" box in the driver.

Bob,

Is there any way to use the duplexer to print greeting cards using MS
PictureIt ( or similar card printing software )and get the printing to come
out correct? Or is my wife just going to have to print one side and then
reinsert to print the other side?

If the issue is that one side comes out upside down then try changing the
setting for "flip pages up" setting in the "print on both sides" driver
setting.

Note that the margins are a bit different when printing full duplex. Normally
there is a 0.08" top margin and a 0.46" bottom margin. When printing in duplex
mode the bottom margin on the back may be 0.08" while the top is 0.46" (since
the back side is actually printed from bottom to top). You can affect this
somewhat by checking the "preserve page layout" box which will result in
margins of about 0.46" top and bottom for both front and back.

It might be useful to practice on plain paper with simple rectangles with a bit
of text to understand the effects of the various options on the orientation and
margins.

Thanx, Bob.

I've tried a lot of different setting using plain paper and B&W only but I
can't find a setting that prints greeting cards correctly.I've tried 2
different greeting card programs both with the same result.

Either greeting card software doesn't work with the duplexer, or I've got
something screwed up because the duplexing works fine with a regular text
document.
