Hi I have a problem with my usb ports. I am attempting to hook up 2
printers, one a HP 7260 photo printer and the other a Lexmark X63. It
appears there is a USB port issue as I can hook up and load the X63 and it
works fine until I hook up the HP printer. Then the X63 stops working and
errors out saying can not find device. Disconnecting and rebooting does not
correct the problem I have to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the
Lexmark to work again.
A test page that I printed when I hooked it up originally shows the
Lexmark on port usb001.The photo printer shows usb002 with no other info
listed.
The connections are in front and back
How do I assign non conflicting ubs ports to correct this issue? OS is XP
Is there a ab switch for USB available ? If so were?
