I am thinking about buying an HP 4180 and would like to hear from
someone who uses one. I have read the evaluations on the Internet and
they all seem to be negative - but usually guys who are ticked off are
the only ones to write. How about it? Does anyone have any good words to
say about this printer? I've been using an HP 1210V for a couple of
years and been pleased with it, but I need one that will give me
"scaled" copies.

Good question! Just be sure and listen only to those who actually
own/use one.
Otherwise ignore all of the other replies as they are useless.

Problem solved! Wife decided that's the one she wanted so it is now all
set up and in place and working fine, and she is tickled pink! I found
no basis for all the complaints about how hard it was to set up. I used
the old standby plan -- read the instructions and followed them! The
only glitch is that the advertisements all said it would scale copies
from 25% to 400%. The one I got will only scale from 50% to 400% but
that seems to meet the need.

Thanks for the responses.
