My HP 3740 has an unusual problem and I just cannot figure it out. It begins
to print, printing about 1/3 of a page and then it stops. It remains stopped
for a few minutes. Then it prints a few more lines and stops again. Then it
prints the remaining 1/3 of the page. It scrolls in the second page and
repeats the process. This can continue through a 9-page document and takes
several minutes.
I have plenty of memory on my computer and have defragged it as well. The
printer was working fine yesterday. But now it just takes bite size chunks
and several minutes to print 9 pages. I have taken the cartridges out, and
reset them in the printer. The print heads are clean. There is ink in the
cartridges. This is very puzzling. Does anyone that is reading this have a
solution to this vexing problem? Thank you very much in advance,
