HP 1317 keeps wanting to re align

I replaced the ink cartridges on my printer and went through the process of
re aligning.
Every time I boot up the PC it wants to realign again.
Any ideas on how to stop this, it prints ok.

You need to load the alignment sheet in the scanner to allow the
alignment process to complete. Once it has completed successfully it
will not print more alignment pages. See

for a similar issue with a different model, the solution should be the
same.

I have loaded the sheet into the scanner to allow to complete but when I
reboot it asks for another realignment.
Thats the problem i cant get it to stop asking even when i follow the
instruction to the letter.
