HP 1200 poor print quality

I have 3 HP 1200 Printers that are printing like the ink cartriage is
out of toner and they are new. i have ordered new toners just in case.
Has this happened to anyone else????
 
Make sure EconoMode is not enabled. This is basically draft mode to
conserve toner. It's configurable in the driver but maybe configurable at
the device as well. The printer manual would have instructions on how to
determine if this is configured on the device.

With HP printers it is under Printer preferences>basics tab>
Advanced features>Ink Volume.
