HP 1120c won't print cyan

Any idea what to look for when my HP 1120C quit printing cyan? Black's a
little streaky, but the rest of the "clean test page" prints OK--just no
cyan.

The printer has no cyan ink? Replace the cart? Is there reason to
believe otherwise?

I have a HP1220c - similar m/c?
I find that one color or another will run out quickly depending what I've
been printing - I print a lot of photos. I use refill inks and just replace
the missing color. And more often than not its cyan or yellow. Hint : make
yourself a printer test sheet with Cyan, Yellow, Magenta, Red, Green, Blue -
in large solid blocks of color ranging from dark to light plus black
outlines. That way you can immediately spot the weak colors.
