After numerous installations/uninstallations of the software for
my HP 1100A, including the 'lj1100cuwinnt42kxp-en.exe' and
'lj1125en.exe' from HP, I still can't connect to my scanner from my
XP home edition system.
I know this issue has been answered in some way before, but I would
really appreciate if some one could give a step-by-step instruction of
how this should be done.
- What (and how/where) do I have to unistall to begin with before
trying to install the new software?
- Which drivers and versions do I have to download from HP (XP,2000 or
NT?)
- In what sequence do I have to install the software?
- Should the printer be connected or not during the installation
process?
- Should I use the NT, Win98 or Win95 version of the original
software?
regards
