HP 1100a and windows XP incompatibility

Scanning does not work with my HP 1100a when I changed my PC to
Windows XP. I went to the HP update site and added the latest driver,
but still no luck. Any ideas about this?

I recommend trying again, I've got 80 1100a w/scanners installed on XP
machines and have not had one problem. Yes, I used the latest download from
HP.
