howya import access database into outlook contacts in office 2Kpro

I have a large customer database (Access 2000) that I want to import into
Outlook 2000, and I can't find out how this can be done. I would love a
wizzard that would let me pick fields for first name, last name, business
name, address1, address2, city, state, zip, homephone, workphone, FAX, and
email and then poof... create the new contacts (looking for duplicates would
be a smart bonus...)

Try this:

1) create a query in your Access database that returns the fields and
records you want to take across to Outlook, and doesn't return any
duplicates.

2) Use the Outlook File|Import and Export wizard to import the data.
