I've a W2000 Server SP4, with Terminal Services enabled for administration
purposes.
This server is in a remote production plant, phisically available for many
users, but with very limited (both for O.S. and NTFS security) rights.
Now, checking the server via RAS, I see that a consolle session is logged on
since many days, but with a poweruser login (who knows how the password has
been retrieved...). Unfortunately, this poweruser has NTFS rights and so,
any person walking near the server can take the mouse and damage data or
application on reserved partitions.
I definitely need to force logoff of the consolle session, but this is not
possible using TS management consolle.
I tried to change login properties setting a autodisconnect timeout, but
this doesn't work (probably this applies at next user login).
How can I proceed to disconnect that user, if possible without rebooting the
server??
Thanks
Alberto

E non so se avrò gli amici a farmi il coro,
o se avrò soltanto volti sconosciuti,
canterò le mia canzoni a tutti loro
e alla fine della strada
potrò dire che i miei giorni li ho vissuti
