Hi there,
Does anyone has tested FS9 with "exotic resolutions" (as provided by
some recent laptops).
I'm wondering how it look when the default 1.3 screen ratio (eg:
1024x768 , 1600x1200) is not respected by either the graphic card or
the display matrix.
Does the display of panels (2D and 3D views) looks streched ? Is the
viewport forced to a 1.3 ratio, or does it use the entire screen width
?

Thanks for your answers

At 1920x1200 (16:10) it definitely stretches, doesn't seem to support
anything other than 4:3. :( It doesn't look that bad if you get the
dashboard out the way though.

Thanks Paul for your answer.
While I can figure it looks streched using 2d panels (default panel
bimaps is either 800x600 or 1024x768 pixels based)
3d panels bitmaps seem to be wider than the defaut viewport.
Can you confirm that 3d panel looks also stretched ?

Have a nice day,

I'm not sure if it does the 3D cockpits, but the world itself it definitely
stretches so I'd assume the same.
